Mansoura University occupies the 3rd position according to webometrics 2018
According to Webometrics' assessment results for July 2018, Mansoura University was ranked as 1284 at the world ranking instead of 1351, to occupy the third position over the National Governmental Universities, the seventeenth position on the African level and third position on the national level.
It is worth to mention that the Webometrics International Assessment of Universities, is the largest assessment system of international universities, that specializes in measuring the quality of educational and research services and covering more than 20,000 universities worldwide.
It is issued by the Supreme Council for Scientific Research in Spain, which is a semi-annual assessment, issued in January and July of each year.
Prof/ Mohamed Kenawy – president of Mansoura University, pointed out that the results of the new classification show remarkable progress in the ranking of the university internationally.
The classification also highlights the university's local, Arab and African characteristics, which is evidence of the solid foundations on which the university's strategic plans and research plans were based.
