Mansoura University has achieved a new scientific milestone to be added to its list of achievements as part of its constant endeavor to improve its scientific and research ranking among the world’s universities and research institutions, out of nearly 650 applicants.
The research submitted by Prof. Muhammad Ahmed Ghoneim, pioneer of kidney transplantation and founder of the Urology and Nephrology Surgery Center at Mansoura University, related to research on the use of stem cells to treat diabetics, won the award for the best scientific production in leadership and innovation, presented by Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, offered his sincere congratulations to the distinguished scientist Prof. Mohamed Ghoneim who obtained the award for the best scientific production in leadership and innovation. He said that the award is a tribute to the scientific research of a scientist at Mansoura University, as he recorded in the history of Mansoura University, which is filled with many scientific and research achievements that contributed to the university ably lead globally and assume the position it aspires to among regional and international Arab universities.
