Mansoura University made a significant milestone in the British QS ranking 2025

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, announced that the university has achieved huge milestones in the British QS Ranking 2025, which is one of the 3 most important and influential rankings in the world.
Mansoura University ranked 951-1000 instead of 1001-1200, 250 places higher than the 2024 ranking, and ranked 4th at the level of Egyptian universities.
He added that Mansoura University continues its unprecedented progress in international rankings, which was reflected in its presence in advanced positions in all international rankings of the best universities in the world with various standards in terms of research performance, international citations, research quality, academic reputation, and the level of its graduates in the international employment index, in addition to its ability to achieve strong competition with Arab and international universities.
Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, stated that the progress of Mansoura University in the QS ranking reflects the commitment of Mansoura University to a set of procedures that have been taken to advance the university in all fields and sectors, such as supporting research activities and practices, paying attention to quantity and quality in the production of scientific research and focusing on achieving the standards of the Q1, With increasing the rate of public spending on applied scientific research and social and human sciences, supporting researchers with all the necessary capabilities to increase the number of research, international participation and quality development, developing and establishing laboratories, forming research teams and supporting them morally, materially and logistically, training for international publishing, increasing the number of internationally published research, directing research towards the needs of the state, national projects and community service, and working to link scientific research with industry.
He added that the university will continue its efforts to improve ranking indicators, including enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, investing in training and developing faculty members, encouraging scientific research with international impact, and ensuring the publication of distinguished research production in prestigious international journals.
It is worth noting that the QS Ranking ranks universities based on several criteria, including academic reputation, graduates' reputation after employment, research production, citations of scientific research published by the university, as well as the number of research published by faculty members at the university in relation to the number of faculty members, the percentage of faculty members and international cooperation, the number of faculty members holding a PhD degree, the number of foreign professors and students at the university, and the impact of the university's website.
