The Opening of the First National Conference on University and Industry

Under the auspices of President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, and in response to his presidential instructions regarding the organization of a national conference that embraces scientists, researchers, and men of industry to help develop the Egyptian Industry, the First National Conference on University and Industry (7-9 March, 2015) was launched.

The conference opening was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, the  university President, the University Vice-Presidents, and heads of the conference sponsoring and organizing institutions. The University Vice- President welcomed the guests and emphasized the idea that the conference aims at getting the maximum benefits from the technologies of research, ideas, experiments, and inventions, in addition to finding new ways for their application to industry and trade. The  recommendations of the conference will be channeled to the International Economic Conference in Sharm-El-Sheikh as a reflection of the opinions of Egyptian universities about the future of Egypt.
