Mansoura University compete in the Formula Student competition organized annually at Silverstone

prof/ Mohamed Kenawy - President of Mansoura University, held a meeting with Mansoura Motor sport team – faculty of Engineering to discuss the team's plan to compete in the Formula Student competition organized annually at Silverstone.
In the presence of Prof/ Ashraf Abdel Basset - Vice President for Education and Students' affairs, Prof/ Zaki Zaidan -Vice President for Community Service and Environmental affairs, Prof/ Mohamed Attwa - Dean of the Faculty of Commerce.
The students presented the stages of the new model for the manufacture of the new race car to be shared this year.
The team is currently in the finishing stage and this year the team is manufacturing all parts, adding electronic control parts and saws for all parts of the vehicle.
its worth to mention that the Formula Student Competition is organized annually at the Silverstone Circuit, the competition is divided into two phases, the first is to display the car, calculate its cost, design and specifications, and based on the evaluation of the car may be accepted and in the second phase which includes some safety tests and specifications Professional, race on the same ring under harsh conditions. In calculating the sum of points in both stages the team gets its position in the overall ranking.
