Mansoura University honors the team of the integrated convoy of the Middle Sinai (Gosoor El Khair) "1"
On October 30, 2018, the University of Mansoura University, under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, Vice-President of the University, honored the team of the integrated convoy of the Middle Sinai,Gosoor ElKhair Al-Khair 1, in recognition of the efforts of the team and the organizers in the success of the convoy, With the Foundation of Egypt, the United Bank, the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in Dakahlia, SEDICO, the pharmaceutical company FARCO as part of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the October victories.
In the presence of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El Meligy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Swailam, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Said Abdel Hady, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Essam El Wakil, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Nabil Abu Heikal - Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Nazem Shalaby - Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Khalid Al-Mahdi - Director of the Medical Department.
Dr. Mahmoud El Meligy stressed the importance of the university's role in serving the society, especially in the medical sector for the people of middle Sinai and its remote areas. He thanked all those who contributed and participated in the success of the integrated convoy which helped many people from Al-Hassana and Nakhl area in central Sinai , also he thanked the governor of North Sinai and the army and police leadership, which secured the convoy.
For his part, Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset said that the convoy is the first multi-disciplinary convoy to reach remote areas in central Sinai to provide medical, veterinary and agricultural services to the areas most in need of these specialties in cooperation with civil society organizations, and stressed that the university will send more From medical convoys to other areas in Sinai to provide multiple services to people in remote places
