President of Mansoura University inaugurates new expansions in Emergency Hospital

Dr. Ashraf Abdel-Basset, President of Mansoura University, inaugurated the new expansions and processes of developing and modernizing the medical system in the emergency hospital in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Swailam, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Said Abdel Hady, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine , Dr. Sameer Attia, Director of the Emergency Hospital , Prof. Dr. Wafa Al Bahai, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Shaarawy Kamal , General Director of the University Hospitals, Dr. Wael Zakaria, Director of the University Hospital, Prof. Dr. Gamal El Adal, Director of the Centers of Medicine, Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Ghandour - Director of Out patient Clinics and a number of members of the House of Representatives and members of the faculty and staff at the hospital.
The new expansions include the addition of 3 roles , including the role of three specialized laboratories , a role for the administrative offices of the employees, and a role for the conference and meeting hall.
Dr. Samir Attia said that the hospital is a unique medical center in the Republic as a specialized center in emergency cases, accidents and critical cases. It provides services to Dakahlia and Delta governorates. The hospital was recently included in the presidential program for the model hospitals in the Republic.

Dr. Al-Said Abdul-Hadi pointed out that the medical system within Mansoura University is witnessing remarkable development thanks to the efforts of the faculty members, hospital staff and specialized medical centers.
For his part, Dr. Ashraf Abdel Baset said that the new expansions are a great addition to the medical system due to the increasing number of patients who are in the hospital and seek to provide the best medical service at a distinguished level. The Emergency Medicine Department is one of the important sections and the organizational structure of the department will be completed, that will develop medical services for emergency patients and critical cases
