The Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain Visits Mansoura University

Today on Thursday, 2/3/2023, Prof. Cherif Yousef Khater- President of Mansoura University received Ms. Kholoud Rashed Matar- The Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and her companied delegation. This visit was carried out within the framework of Mansoura University’s care of the effective and continuous communication with all embassies and cultural attachés. In addition to, the University is keen on increasing the number of International students who are studying at the University.

The attendees were: Prof. Yasser Lotfy- Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Ahmed Anwar ElAdl- General Supervisor of International Students’ Administration, and Mrs. Sahar Mohamed El-Eraky- Manager of International Student’s Administration.

The President of Mansoura University confirmed through this meeting the deepen links and strong relations between Egypt and the Kingdom of Bahrain. He added that, Mansoura University is keen on caring of all International Students, especially Bahraini students who are study at various faculties of the University. Besides, he stressed that the University offers the best and recent educational methodologies and special programs in order to enrich the students with knowledge and culture, as they are considered real ambassadors of Mansoura University in their countries. 

Ms. Kholoud Rashed Mater expressed her pleasure towards visiting Mansoura University. She showed her admiration of the high educational and academic levels, the prestigious reputation of Mansoura University, and what it achieved of outstanding progress in the sector of education.

She presented her thanks and appreciations to the staff of the Administration of the University as well as International Students’ Administration for their exerted efforts to support Bahraini students and offer all ways of care and various services through their period of study at various faculties of University such as, housing services and health care. Further, she praised the acceleration of finalizing the student’s procedures and solving all problems that they may face at the University’s faculties either in undergraduate level or postgraduate one. She admired the keen of International Students’ Administration on the participation of Bahraini nationality in all activities that are organized inside the University. 

On the margin of the visit, the Bahraini Cultural Counselor visited the Faculty of Medicine. She was received by the followings: Prof. Basma Shouman- Vice-Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students’ Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Negm- Director of Mansoura Manchester Medical Program, Dr. Maha Belal- Director of the Obligatory Internship Program at the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Menna ElHendawy- Director of International Students’ Office at the Faculty of Medicine. The meeting was held with a great number of Bahraini students who are studying at the Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Dentistry. The meeting discussed all matters of the students as well as replied to all their inquiries.

By the end of the visit, the Cultural Counselor praised the performance of the staff of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dentistry for what they offer to support Bahraini students who are studying at these faculties.
