Mansoura University organizes a sports day as part of the activities of the National Awareness and Legal Education Initiative “Know and Impart”

Within the activities of the National Awareness and Legal Education Initiative at Mansoura University, under the slogan “Know and Impart” organized by Mansoura University, whose activities began on November 25 and will continue until December 7, 2023.
On December 3, 2023, the Faculty of Physical Education, in cooperation with the Administration of Student Welfare, organized a “Sports Day” that includes a running marathon and a football match.
In the presence of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, and in the presence of deans of faculties, a number of faculty members and students.
Prof. Cherif Khater praised the activities of the “Know and Impart” initiative, which was organized in various faculties at the university, that aims to raise awareness and legal education, introduce political rights, develop the spirit of loyalty and belonging among students, combat rumors, and introduce the surrounding dangers that target Egypt’s national security. He emphasized the importance of introducing legal rights and constitutional entitlements and youth participation in them, he also discussed the importance of student activities as they contribute to the cultural development of youth, and to refine and build the personality of the university student as they are activities that enhance the student’s awareness.
Prof. Muhammad Attia Al-Bayoumi also expressed his pleasure at being among his students, who are the foundation of the educational process. He also pointed out the importance of various student activities and initiatives that work to build and develop students’ personalities and skills.
Prof. Ahmed Abdel Azim praised the role of the Faculty of Physical Education in participating in important events and initiatives at the university and the efforts of the faculty members and students in participating in the initiative and organizing the sports day.
The marathon started in front of the university’s main gate to the Olympic Village Stadium. The sports day’s activities also included a football match inside the large stadium at the university stadium between the teams of the Faculties of Physical Education and Arts.
