President of Mansoura University receives a delegation from the University of Manchester Dentistry to enhance cooperation

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, received a delegation from the University of Manchester, England, during its visit to the Mansoura-Manchester Program at the University’s Faculty of Dentistry.
In the presence of Prof. Muhammad Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Yasser Lotfy, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Prof. Radwa Omera, Director of the Program.
The University of Manchester delegation includes Prof. Julian Yates - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Manas Dave, Assessment Lead, Prof. Siobhan Barry - Director of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Neil Patel - Director of Courses.
The visit of the delegation from the University of Manchester in England came to follow up on the educational process in the Mansoura-Manchester Dentistry Program at Mansoura University. They also discussed activating student exchange and enhancing cooperation in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater said that Mansoura University is interested in partnering with international and prestigious universities to develop its educational and scientific programs according to international standards, which is strongly proven in the quality of the academic output, and that such modern programs would attract large numbers of international students to obtain international academic degrees at Mansoura University, which effectively contributes to increasing the university’s funding sources and providing educational capabilities to develop laboratories and modern teaching methods.
Prof. Yasser Lotfy said that there is complete coordination and commitment to the plan and study program of the University of Manchester, which contributed to the development of the Faculty of Dentistry and the provision of an advanced and distinguished educational service according to international standards. He pointed out that this dental program was started with the University of Manchester and students were accepted from the beginning of the 2017/2018 academic year. It is the first specialized joint program with a foreign university at the level of dental faculties in Egyptian universities.
