Mansoura University Faculty of Nursing is Internationally accredited by the German Authority for International Accreditation (AHPGS)

The German Authority for International Accreditation (AHPGS) recommended unconditional accreditation for the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, during the conclusion of the field visit of the German Authority’s delegation, which lasted for two days.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University received a delegation of the German Authority for International Accreditation, headed by Mr. George Richard, President of the Authority, and 6 members of the Authority.
In the presence of Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amina Al-Nemr, Dean of the faculty, Vice Deans of the faculty, and Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, coordinator of the international students administration at the faculty, faculty staff members and students.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater said that the university is doing its best to ensure that its faculties obtain international accreditation, aiming to enable its graduates to compete in the international labor market outside Egypt, and to increase their job opportunities, through accredited educational programs. He added that the faculties of the medical sector at the university provide health services that are considered the best and most modern in Egypt, noting the role of the faculty of nursing in supporting nursing work by preparing qualified and trained graduates to work inside and outside Egypt.
The German delegation praised Mansoura University and its excellence in various international rankings, and the university’s interest and support in the nursing sector qualified it for international accreditation, they also praised the level of the Faculty of Nursing, which is comparable to the standards of nursing faculties in Europe. They discussed the faculty’s scientific and academic indicators, scientific research and publishing, and community services, in addition to the development initiatives considering the faculty’s strategic plan, which reflects the state’s vision 2030 and supports the role of women in health care. They praised the development of the curriculum, which keeps pace with international curricula, in addition to the equipment. Advanced skills laboratories and training methods that are in line with international accreditation standards, fruitful cooperation between hospitals and the faculty, continuing education within hospitals, and the faculty’s constant follow-up of its graduates. The presence of graduates in the university’s medical system and their excellence in providing medical services was also praised due to their scientific and training qualifications, which indicates the extent of their readiness to work immediately after their graduation.
Prof. Amina El-Nemr extended thanks and appreciation to all faculty members, staff, and students at the faculty for their joint cooperation and teamwork and congratulated the Faculty of Nursing and Mansoura University on this international achievement.
The delegation toured the university campus, university hospitals, Faculty of Nursing inspecting the auditoriums, laboratories, and training halls, in addition to meetings and discussions with the faculty members, professors, students, and graduates, in addition, they visited the electronic exam center at the Faculty of Law, the Olympic Village to inspect sports activities venues, the University Center for Career Development, and Intelaq Communications and information Technology Company.
