President of Mansoura University receives the Assistant Minister of Justice for Real Estate Registration and Documentation to participate in the symposium “Legislative and practical developments in the Real Estate Registration Law” at the Faculty of Law

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, received Counselor Youssef Mohamed Al-Koumi, Assistant Minister of Justice for Real Estate Registration and Documentation, and Counselor Sameh Ramadan, member of the Technical Office of the Assistant Minister of Justice, as part of participation in a symposium entitled “Legislative and practical developments in the Real Estate Registration Law” at the Faculty of Law.

In the presence of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Walid El-Shenawy, Dean of the Faculty of Law.

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater welcomed the visit of Counselor Youssef Mohamed Al-Koumi, Assistant Minister of Justice for Real Estate Registration and Documentation, at Mansoura University, stressing the university’s keenness to cooperate with the Ministry of Justice. During the meeting, he presented that the idea of establishing an office for real estate registration and documentation for the university’s administrators, teaching staff members and students and equipping it with the latest technological devices and means at the highest level so that the office provides all real estate registration and documentation services within the framework of the university’s plan to facilitate the provision of various services to all university employees in accordance with the Ministry’s approval for its establishment.

Counselor Youssef Muhammad Al-Koumi said that the Ministry is working to develop all branches of real estate registration offices in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Minister of Justice, and to mechanize and equip them at the highest level of readiness, supported by all modern technological means, to reduce the crowding of citizens.

Prof. Cherif Khater presented the university shield to Chancellor Youssef Al-Koumi as a souvenir from the university, while Chancellor Youssef Al-Koumi dedicated him a copy of the Ministry of Justice’s publications: Real Estate Registration Law No. 9 of 2022 and its executive regulations, and a copy of Law No. 27 of 2018 regarding the provision’s Real estate registration in new urban communities, and its amendments by Law 177 of 2022
