Signing a joint cooperation protocol between Mansoura University and Anbar University in Iraq

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between Mansoura University - Egypt and Anbar University - Iraq, this is within the framework of scientific and research cooperation between Mansoura University and Anbar University, with the aim of supporting aspects of cooperation and scientific and research support in all fields.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Osama Al-Ayyan, Dean of the Faculty of Science, from Mansoura University, and from Anbar University, Prof. Abdul Rahman Salman, Dean of the Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. Saeed Nayef Turki, Head of the Department of Physics - Faculty of Education, Prof. Loay Hatem, Head of the Department of Life Sciences - Faculty of Education, and Prof. Haitham Latif, coordinator of the agreement, from Mansoura University; Prof. Mohamed Amr El-Mesiri, Professor at the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science and Coordinator of the Convention.

The protocol aims to enhance aspects of joint cooperation, exchange of experiences and joint supervision between the two parties in order to maximize the benefit from the expertise of researchers, and research capabilities to serve all research fields.

Prof. Cherif Khater said that Mansoura University strives to implement the national strategy for higher education and scientific research and Egypt's Vision 2030, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to expand international partnerships with institutions with a distinguished reputation, and to make Egypt a destination for providing educational services in the Arab region and the African continent, and reflects the university's keenness to deepen its international role and continue to establish partnerships in various scientific fields of common interest.

Prof. Abdul Rahman Salman expressed his pleasure for concluding a cooperation protocol with Mansoura University, which occupies a prominent position among Egyptian universities, pointing out that the protocol aims to consolidate joint cooperation in all research fields, stressing the importance of higher education as one of the important factors in comprehensive development, and one of the pillars of building a modern society, and the desire of Anbar University to strengthen relations with prestigious international university institutions in the scientific and cultural fields, which are focused on serving and advancing
