Signing a memorandum of understanding between Mansoura University and Delta University of Science and Technology to train students of the faculties of law and fine arts

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Yahya Abdel Azim Al-Mashad, President of Delta University, signed a memorandum of understanding between Mansoura University and Delta University for Science and Technology, during the meeting session of Mansoura University Council on June 26, 2024, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Rabie, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Delta University, and members of the Mansoura University Council.
The cooperation protocol comes within the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in coordination and cooperation between various institutions to exploit the capabilities available in the country for the benefit of the Egyptian citizen, and based on the role of Egyptian universities in serving their communities and developing their environment, and to activate the joint cooperation protocol for the alliance partners in the Delta region scientific, research, industrial and advisory, and the desire of Delta University to benefit from the expertise and material and human resources in the Faculties of Law and Fine Arts at Mansoura University, to train students of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Fine Arts at Delta University to work on improving the level of the educational process and graduating distinguished generations by providing training opportunities for Delta University students, through its special units and the moot court, as well as providing training opportunities in the various laboratories of the departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
The cooperation protocol also includes the formation of joint research committees to work on solving the problems of the region, the exchange of faculty members, joint supervision of master's and doctoral theses, and cooperation between the two parties to establish various scientific activities (conferences, seminars, lectures) with the organization of training courses, seminars and workshops.
Prof. Cherif Khater discussed the importance of cooperation with universities for the alliance partners in the Delta region, and that Mansoura University's continuous cooperation with Delta University is the best example of the effective partnership between public and private universities in the Delta region. He also praised the scientific and research excellence of Delta University, and the efforts made to develop the educational system to ensure improving the quality of higher education by providing advanced educational programs that meet the needs of the labor market.
Dr. Mohamed Rabie Nasser praised the excellence of Mansoura University and its continuous support for all Delta educational institutions, pointing out that the development witnessed by Delta University is derived from Mansoura University through constructive cooperation in various fields and continuous integration between the two universities, which is a model to be followed among Egyptian universities.
Prof. Yahya Al-Mashad praised the cooperation with Mansoura University, expressing his pride in what Mansoura University has achieved as the first accredited public university in Egypt, and its commitment to international accreditation standards and various scientific, research and student activities, stressing that this success is the result of distinguished efforts, cooperation and integration within all sectors and departments at Mansoura University.
