Mansoura University Council holds a meeting in the presence of Dakahlia Governor

Prof. Cherif Khater: The University Council appreciates the efforts made by the governorate in various files that concern the citizen.

- Dakahlia Governor: We renew the ongoing strategic partnership with Mansoura University to enhance local development and provide all services to citizens in all sectors.

- The President of the University and the Governor of Dakahlia renew the emphasis on the importance of integration and joint cooperation in many files to develop Dakahlia.

Mansoura University Council held its session No. "617", on November 25, 2024, headed by Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and in the presence of Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia and the members of the Council.

At the beginning of the session, Prof. Cherif Khater said that there is a twinning between Mansoura University and the governorate, and joint cooperation in many files that serve citizens. He added that Mansoura University pays great attention to implementing all required work as soon as possible, pointing out that the university council stands as one man in providing all aspects of moral, logistical, and technological support to Dakahlia Governorate, to achieve the directives of the political leadership in achieving a better quality of life for the Egyptian citizen.

Major General Tarek Marzouk expressed his pleasure to be in Mansoura University and among its faculty members, which has produced many scientists, ministers, innovators, and thinkers for Egypt and Dakahlia, and thanks to its excellence, Mansoura has become the medical capital of Egypt. He extended his thanks and appreciation to Mansoura University, its president, deans, professors, researchers, and our students, the future of this country.

The Dakahlia Governor pointed out that Mansoura University is a key partner with the governorate in providing and improving all services to citizens, and its participation in developing many service sectors. He announced the renewal of the cooperation charter between the governorate and Mansoura University as a basic partner in implementing, designing and developing various sectors.

Prof. Cherif Khater confirmed the University Council's welcome to contribute to the activities of the major celebration of the governorate's national day, scheduled to be held next February, and to participate in it with all the university's available capabilities. The Governor of Dakahlia indicated that work is taking place between the governorate and Mansoura University in cooperation and continuous coordination between us in a distinguished and effective manner in defining the visual identity of our beloved governorate and in all fields and improving services, and he stressed his full support for Mansoura University in order to continue performing its scientific, medical, research and educational mission to serve the people of the governorate and other governorates in all the services they need.

 Prof. Mohamed Rabie expressed his great pleasure to be present at Mansoura University, as a beacon of scientific, cultural and research radiation that has the credit for Delta University and all the new universities in the region. He stressed his continued pride in Mansoura University, praising its distinguished achievements at the local and international levels, and the cooperation it provides in the fields of higher education and scientific research
