Mansoura University inaugurates the "Visions 2024" Fine Arts Exhibition in the presence of the Governor of Dakahlia

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, and Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, inaugurated the "Visions" Fine Arts Exhibition on November 25, 2024, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Rabie, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Delta University, Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Supervisor of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Deans of Faculties, Assoc. Prof. Dina Youssef, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts for Graduate Studies and Research and Supervisor of the Exhibition, Assoc. Prof. Iman Okasha, Exhibition Commissioner, Dr. Marwa Sami, Assistant Commissioner, faculty members, a number of visual artists and a number of public figures.
The exhibition includes a variety of artworks by faculty members of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
In his opening speech, Prof. Cherif Khater praised the artistic creations on display, stressing the importance of supporting talented people and supporting them to showcase their work. He added that this exhibition reflects the university’s interest in cultural and artistic activities, which contribute to enriching university life and developing the spirit of creativity among students. He also said that the exhibition reflects Mansoura University’s care for creativity and innovation, expressing his pride in the wonderful artworks presented by faculty members, opening of the "Vision 2024" Fine Arts Exhibition at Mansoura University.
Major General Tarek Marzouk expressed his pleasure with the artworks displayed in the exhibition, congratulating Mansoura University on this high artistic level. He added that art in its comprehensive concept is a purposeful message that moves the conscience of people as a mirror that reflects our reality, and a source of inspiration and evidence that creativity knows no boundaries.
Prof. Cherif Khater said that this exhibition is the beginning of a series of art exhibitions that highlight the distinguished creative and artistic side of the academic community at Mansoura University.
Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Azim stressed the importance of art exhibitions in highlighting the cultural identity of society, noting that the “Visions 2024” exhibition is a distinguished idea from the Faculty of Fine Arts that represents a qualitative addition to the cultural and artistic scene at the university.
The exhibition includes a variety of artworks by faculty members of the faculty, reaching more than 100 artworks by more than 56 faculty members. These works contain many artistic materials and techniques, including: oil paintings, murals, engravings, acrylics, gouache, sculptures, and photography
