Mansoura University President Attends the Closing Ceremony of the Orientation Week for International Students

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, witnessed the closing activities of the Orientation Week for International Students on December 3, 2024, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Deans of Faculties, Vice Deans, Dr. Moatasem Bellah El-Bahrawy, General Supervisor of the International Students’ Administration, Dr. Shaima Abdel Wahab, Dr. Ahmed Salah, Deputy General Supervisor, faculty members, and international students.
Prof. Cherif Khater welcomed the attendees, expressing his pride in all international students within the university's faculties in their second homeland, Egypt. He also stressed the university's care for international students and develop the services provided to them to facilitate their integration into university life with their faculties, provide suitable accommodation in university dorms, and participate in activities and student unions in the faculties to represent their international colleagues of different nationalities.
During the celebration, several events were held, concluding with the final match of the five-a-side football league for international students on the covered hall fields of the Olympic Village at Mansoura University, which ended with the winning of the team representing Sudan over the team of Mauritania by 2-nill.
Prof. Cherif Khater handed the Sudanese team the President's Cup, amidst the great joy of the foreign students. He also honored a number of distinguished international students from the faculties, as well as the coordinators of the branch offices in the various faculties and the employees of the International Club Administration and the International Students’ Administration at Mansoura University.
