Mansoura University President witnesses the announcement of the results of Mansoura University Student Union for the year 2024/2025

- Students for Egypt wins the presidency of the union and all seats.

Mansoura University announced on November 28, 2024, the results of the elections to choose the President of the Mansoura University Student Union and the Vice President of the Union and the elections to choose the Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries of the Higher Committees of the University Student Union, in the presence of Prof. Cherif Khater, President of the University, Prof. Mohamed Attia, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Jaidi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Supervising the Elections, and the members of the committee, Prof. Tamer Saleh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Saad Abdel Wahab, Secretary of the University, Dr. Walid Tantawi, Assistant Secretary General for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, Coordinator of Student Activities, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Ashry, Director General of Student Welfare Administration.

The Supreme Committee supervising the Student Union Elections at Mansoura University, headed by Prof. Mahmoud Al-Gaidi, announced winning the members of the Students for Egypt family for the presidency of the union and all the union seats: the vice president of the union, the secretaries of the committees and their assistants, out of 1039 students who ran for the elections.

The results were announced winning the student Ali Ismail Muhammad Ismail, a fifth-year student at the Faculty of Engineering, for the position of President of the University Student Union, and student Ahmed Muhammad Salah, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Science, for the position of Vice President of the Union.

Prof. Cherif Khater thanked the education and students sector and all the student welfare team at the university and the faculties for their efforts throughout the student elections. He also thanked the Supreme Committee supervising the elections and the subcommittees, stressing his follow-up of the electoral process at the university level throughout the election schedule to ensure that it is proceeding with transparency and integrity in accordance with the rules followed according to the schedule approved by the Ministry of Higher Education. He also called for expanding the role of the union and the participation of all students in various activities with the aim of motivating them, honing their talents and supporting the spirit of competition among them.

The university president congratulated the union president, the vice president and the secretaries of the subcommittees, and also saluted the former union, wishing for a successful and distinguished academic year full of activities.

Prof. Mohamed Attia expressed his pleasure to participate in this student event that reflects the state of university activism and the participation of students through the elected student entity, extending greetings and appreciation to the president of Mansoura University for his continuous support to student activities and the university student union, as well as to the Supreme Elections Committee for its efforts in carrying out the elections with transparency and in accordance with the rules, and to the deans, vice deans, activity coordinators, sponsorship directors and students. He also congratulated the union president, the vice president and the winning students, noting that the students' winning in the elections is an assignment to manage student affairs, wishing them success and guidance. He invited the union members to actively participate in the activities and events that the university will hold, as they are an integral part of this educational institution and their ideas and contributions are what make the university a better place for everyone.

The activities of the election results announcement ceremony concluded with a group commemorative photo of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater and Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, surrounded by the attendees from the Supreme Elections Committee, the deans, the union president, the union vice president and the elected students.

It is worth noting that following the announcement of the election results, Students for Egypt family performed some activities for the occasion of their celebration of winning the elections.
