Mansoura University President Receives Bishop Aksios for Eid Al-Fitr Congratulations

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, received His Grace Bishop Aksios, Bishop of the Diocese of Mansoura and its Dependencies, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, to offer Eid Al-Fitr greetings.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof.Tarek Ghalwash Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Dr. Mariam Wissa, Director of the Center for the Care of Innovators, Gifted and Talented at the University. The meeting was also attended by a church delegation, including Father Saroufim Wadih, Deputy Bishop of the Diocese; Prof. Paula Georgi, Director of Public Relations at the Diocese of Mansoura; and Prof. Maged Milad.
Prof. Cherif Khater expressed his great pleasure with the visit of the Coptic Church delegation, which is renewed every holiday, and with it, the bonds of brotherhood are renewed. He emphasized his pride in the strong ties that reflect the spirit of love, national unity, and cohesion among all segments of society. He prayed to Allah that Egypt and its people remain secure and stable for ever, under the leadership of its wise political leadership.He added that the exchange of congratulations and visits on religious and national occasions between the two components of the Egyptian nation affirms cohesion and unity of ranks and consolidates the values of affection, love, and peace among the people of one nation. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to bring these days back to Egypt and its great people with goodness, blessings, and prosperity.
For his part, His Grace Bishop Aksios affirmed his constant commitment to visiting the university and offering congratulations on various occasions, extending his sincere congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. He also commended the pioneering role played by Mansoura University as a beacon of knowledge and scientific research, and the specialized community and medical services it provides covering Dakahlia Governorate and the Nile Delta. He praised the fruitful cooperation between the university and the governorate in serving citizens and participating in development and service issues.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged congratulations and wishes for continued security, stability, and progress for Egypt.
