Mansoura University Awards Egypt's Attorney General an Honorary Doctorate in Recognition of His Contributions to Supporting Justice

Mansoura University Council unanimously decided to award Counselor Mohamed Shawky Ayad, the Attorney General of the Arab Republic of Egypt, an honorary doctorate in recognition of his distinguished contributions and outstanding efforts in supporting the justice system, consolidating the rule of law, and his effective role in developing the judicial system and enhancing the protection of public rights and freedoms.
This came during an extraordinary session held on May 8, 2025, chaired by Prof. Cherif Khater, President of the University, and attended by Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia; Prof. Sayed Abdel Khaleq, former Minister of Higher Education; Major General Khaled Eid, Director of National Security for the Eastern Delta Region; and Public Prosecution leaders, headed by Counselor Amr Farouk, Director of Judicial Inspection; Counselor Mohamed El-Bayea, Head of the Technical Office of the Attorney General; Counselor Ali Mukhtar, Director of Public Prosecutions; Counselor Mustafa Samra, First Attorney General of the Mansoura Appeal Prosecution; and members of the University Council.
During the session, ways and mechanisms for implementing the cooperation protocol concluded with the Public Prosecution were discussed.
President of Mansoura University presented Counselor Dr. Mohamed Shawky Ayyad with an honorary doctorate and presented him with the University Shield in appreciation of his dedicated efforts in supporting the justice system, consolidating the rule of law, and strengthening cooperation between the Public Prosecution and academic institutions.
The Egyptian Attorney General also presented the Public Prosecution Shield to the President of Mansoura University, expressing his appreciation for the pioneering academic and research role played by the university.
