A delegation of students from Mansoura University visited the main laboratories of the Chemical Warfare Administration to enhance scientific and national awarenessUnder the auspices of Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, the university organized a scientific visit for a delegation of its students to the main laboratories of the Chemical Warfare Administration in Cairo. This visit reflects the university's commitment to developing students' scientific and national awareness, familiarizing them with the role of state institutions, and providing them with the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies used in the detection, analysis, and protection against chemical, biological, and radiological hazards. This contributes to expanding their knowledge and bridging the gap between theoretical study and practical application.

The visit was led by Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and organized by the General Administration for Student Welfare, represented by the Social Activities and Trips Department, in cooperation with the university's Military Education Department. The visit took place under the supervision of Dr. Walid Tantawi, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, General Coordinator of Student Activities; Dr. Mariam Wissa, Deputy Coordinator of Student Activities; Mr. Ahmed El-Ashry Helal, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare; and Mr. Ehab Rady, Director of the Social Activities and Trips Department. It was coordinated with the University's Military Education Department, led by Lieutenant Colonel Mahmoud Saad Hassan, Director of the Military Education Department, and attended by Colonel Ibrahim Ahmed Abdel-Qader.

 The student delegation received a briefing on the responsibilities of the Chemical Warfare Department and its role in supporting the nation's capabilities in the areas of protection against chemical, biological, and radiological hazards. They also toured the main laboratories, observing the modern equipment and technologies used in detection and analysis, and learned about the efforts being made to develop the work system in accordance with the latest scientific systems and quality and safety standards.

 The delegation was also briefed on the department's operations. The visit also included a tour of several laboratories and facilities belonging to the department, during which the students learned about the nature of the work within them and listened to an explanation of their role in supporting the chemical protection system. This reflects the state's specialized personnel and advanced scientific and technical capabilities in this field.

 This visit is part of Mansoura University's plan to organize scientific and educational visits for its students, aiming to broaden their horizons, connect academic knowledge with practical applications, strengthen values ​​of belonging and national awareness, and highlight the efforts of state institutions in the fields of research and development and national protection.
