Prof. Tarek Ghalwash said that the successive challenges and rapid technological developments have become imperative for society to achieve a balance between them and the economic and legal needs, to support the positive aspects and limit the negative effects resulting from technological development. Therefore, researchers in various sectors must develop legal and economic frameworks for decision-makers to solve the problems they may face.

Prof. Walid El-Shenawy pointed out that the Faculty of Law, Mansoura University, continues to set an example at the level of Egyptian and Arab law faculties in subjecting the most important legal problems to research and study, stressing the keenness of the Faculty Council this year to adopt the most exciting topics at the local and international levels, which is "the legal and economic dimensions of technological uses", to clearly show the faculty's keenness on the importance of keeping pace with various legal studies of rapid technological and technical developments, which impose on us to hold conferences and workshops that work to support the efficiency of researchers in the postgraduate stage to integrate them into the era of the knowledge economy and technology.

Prof. Ibrahim Abdullah added that the world is witnessing a huge technological and economic revolution today, the effects and repercussions of which have been reflected on various sectors and economic and productive activities in various countries of the world. The legal and economic studies sector has not been immune to this development, as technological developments have contributed to a qualitative shift in the legal sector during the past few years. However, the adoption of these legal technologies still faces many challenges, which can be overcome through studies and research that can suggest innovative legal solutions to overcome these challenges, stressing the involvement of young researchers in scientific forums that enhance their research capabilities and at the same time contribute to proposing and finding solutions.

Dr. Mayada Hassan said that Mansoura Faculty of Law is one of the first faculties in the Republic to launch a conference for postgraduate students, with the continuation of launching the conference for eight consecutive years without interruption since its launch, due to the importance of the conference in raising and addressing issues related to various fields of legal and economic studies and urging postgraduate students, young researchers and members of the auxiliary body and building their capabilities in scientific research.
